Magpies are turning PINK! This Saturday is sure to be a HUGE day, not only is it our canteen day but the day our very own Michelle Hoare shaves her head for the McGrath Foundation! There will be plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy. All players will be wearing their pink Magpie socks, we will also be selling pink goodies in the canteen, the very popular jumping castles will be there for the day as well as face painting for kids.
Chris Mortimer will take the clipper…s and be shaving Michelle’s head at approx. 1pm. We would love as much support from Magpies families and friends to stay behind after your child’s game and support Michelle and her selfless fundraising efforts!
At the end of the day we would like to invite all families back to The Blamey for a free sausage sizzle. We will also be raffling off a signed St George jersey will all funds raised going directly back to the McGrath Foundation.
We have booked the area out the front of the Blamey as the function room is booked out. It would be a great way to top off the day sharing a drink and sausage sizzle with all of the Magpie families!
